Civil Engineer-Entry Level

Suyash Consulting, LLC (SUYASH) is actively seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to work in our Columbia, MD Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and planning of water resources and environmental projects involving stormwater management (SWM), hydrology/hydraulics, erosion/sediment control design, drainage, stream restoration, bridge scour studies, floodplain studies, TMDL projects, NPDES, SWM retrofit design and BMPs.

  • Construction cost estimating.

  • CAD and Field work.

  • Work directly with Senior Staff and Manager.

Requirements:

  • BSCE in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

  • 1-2 years of experience.

  • Knowledge of MS Office, MicroStation, InRoads a plus.

  • EIT preferred.

Position Type: Full Time/Part Time

Working Conditions for All Positions:

Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sitting in nature but may require occasional standing, and walking. Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
